Rehab Tech - Rehabilitation - PRN*
Under the general direction of the Clinical Director of Physical Rehabilitation and Staff Occupational Therapist, the Therapy Aide is responsible for provision and administration of specific rehabilitation treatments only under the direct supervision of the staff Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist. The Therapy Aide as directed and supervised by the staff therapist, assists with restoration of patient functioning to prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability i.e.Stroke, spinal cord injury, congenital deformity, amputation, brain injury, neurological disorder, hip fractures, burns, bilateral hip and knee replacements, activity polyarticular rheumatoid arthritis and seronegative arthropathies, major multiple traumas, systemic vasculidities with joint inflammation, severe or advanced osteoarthritis and other debilities. Assists patient's to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
Experience, Education & Skills REQUIRED:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Current BCLS certification.
- Minimum of one year experience as Physical Therapy Aide recommended
