Under the general supervision of the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Quality Officer is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and implementing, an interdisciplinary Hospital-wide Performance Improvement Program to ensure ongoing assessment of patient outcomes and patient care delivery systems according to established standards. The Chief Quality Officer has primary administrative responsibilities for the Quality/Performance Improvement Program, Infection Prevention, Risk Management and Medical Staff Services.
- Current licensure in the Texas as Registered Nurse.
- Masters degree and educational background related to administrative activities of health care facilities required.
- Experience in health care delivery systems with focus on Quality/Performance Improvement, and Medical Staff Services.
