This position is subject to the COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Steward Health Care Workforce. Under the general supervision of the Clinical Director, Rehabilitation Unit, and the direct supervision of a Charge Nurse, the Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct nursing care to individuals and groups of patients according to physicians' orders and applicable patient care standards to promote safe and effective care to patients admitted for specialized care with a focus on rehabilitative care.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- Current licensure in Texas as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- Previous clinical nursing experience in rehabilitative nursing preferred.
- Reference Steward Certification Grid for all required Certifications.
