Director Physical Therapy
This position is subject to the COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Steward Health Care Workforce. POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, the Clinical Director of Physical Rehabilitation of the Rehabilitation Unit is responsible for maintaining the efficient functioning of the Physical Rehabilitation Team (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy) within the In-Patient Rehab Unit, Out-Patient Clinic and acute care areas.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Current licensure in Texas as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Therapist.
Minimum of three (3) years of clinical practice with emphasis on leadership and management experience preferred.
Previous experience in providing physical therapy, occupational therapy or speech therapy in an In-Patient Rehab Unit, Out-Patient Clinic or acute care setting. Current CPR.
