Position Summary:
Under the general direction of the Director of Performance Improvement, the Chest Pain Clinical Coordinator, is responsible for coordination and direction of the Chest Pain/Sepsis Program, including: developing and maintaining educational materials pertinent to the disease, coordinating care program as set forth by interdisciplinary team, and performing quality duties to ensure program is up to date with treatment protocols and evidenced based care. Coordinator. Responsibilities will include direct patient care, hands on education with patients, staff and physicians, orientation and training of clinical issues with regards to hospital Sepsis patients.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing preferred
  • Current licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse
  • Two years of adult medical-surgical or critical care experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Current CPR
