Job Description

Position Summary:
Under the general direction of the Food Service Supervisor, the Cashier is responsible for performing a variety of duties involving setting up for cafeteria service, serving food on the cafeteria line and receiving cash payments for food, following established practices and procedures.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hospital food service as a cashier preferred
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations preferred
  • Must be able to read and write English
