Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the general direction of the Food Service Supervisor, the Cashier is responsible for performing a variety of duties involving setting up for cafeteria service, serving food on the cafeteria line and receiving cash payments for food, following established practices and procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

A. High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

B. Previous experience in hospital food service as a cashier preferred.

C. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations preferred.

D. Must be able to read and write English.
