Job Description
This position is subject to the COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Steward Health Care Workforce. POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the general supervision of the Cardiac Cath Lab Director, the Special Procedures/Cath Technologist is responsible for the provision of interventional radiological and cardiac services of a highly specialized nature to patients according to physicians' orders. The Technologist will ensure patient safety and high-quality testing by way of hemodynamic monitoring Cardiac Cath Lab cases and radiation exposure data collection /reporting.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of an accredited or registered
Current registration with A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) or registration eligible and or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist).
Certified by the Texas Department of Health.
Minimum of two years’ experience in special procedures and or cardiac Cath Lab.
