Under the general supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, the Controller is responsible for the activities of the Accounting Department. Develops and/or implements policies and procedures related to the area of responsi-bility and recommends policy changes to administration; interviews, hires and trains new employees and assigns staff to various work functions. Responsible for financial reporting (Hyperion), reimbursement package, cash management, accounts payable, payroll, budgeting, and special projects as directed by the Chief Financial Officer.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
A. Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with emphasis on accounting.
B. Five to seven years experience in accounting. Supervisory skills required and hospital experience preferred.
